The Westlake Observer Presents 

A Winter Short Story Writing Contest

THEME/TOPIC:

Your story should connect in some way to the WINTER SEASON – you could write about the holidays or vacation or a winter setting or anything else related to winter!

Submissions due by Monday, January 13th at 5:00 p.m.

There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner for students and a 1st place winner for staff.

CRITERIA: 

  • Story should be 500 words or less.
  • Story will be judged on creativity, originality, how engaging it is, and the overall quality of writing.
