GeoBee Semifinalist Adam Kellis

The results are in! The National Geographic Society named 8th grader and Student Council President Adam Kellis as one of the semifinalists eligible to compete in the 2020 National Geographic GeoBee State Competition.

Adam has reached the second level of the National Geographic GeoBee competition. He was the Westlake schoolwide winner, and then he competed against 8,661 students to qualify for state by taking an online test. He is one of the 100 winners in the state of Colorado and has been invited to compete in the State GeoBee this March. The winner of the state GeoBee gets $1000 cash and a trip to DC for the National competition.
