The Marshall Fires burned through Boulder County on December 30th, 2021.

These fires burned over 6,000 acres and took hundres of homes in the process.   Also damaged by the fires was Monarch PK-8 School in Boulder.

To help this school (and the people whose houses were destroyed) get back on their feet, the Westlake National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) held a donation drive, asking the school community to donate games and gift cards to give to families and victims of the Marshall Fire .

After the drive, NJHS delivered 27 games and 28 gift cards from Amazon, Target, Kings Soopers, and Walmart plus $700 to Monarch PK-8 to support about 25 families who lost their homes in the Marshall Fire.
