Females of Rock: Focus on Stevie Nicks

Stevie Nicks

Stevie Nicks was the lead singer of a band popular in the 1970s called Fleetwood Mac.

She also made many solo songs. Some of her hit songs are Landslide, Dreams, and Edge of Seventeen.  She had 1 Billboard hit.  It was Dreams by Fleetwood Mac.

Stevie Nicks paved the way when it came to rock music. In addition to being in a band,  she was also a singer of her own. She had a wide range as a singer, from high pitch to a very low gritty pitch.  Her style was mainly very flowy and she usually sang in a mid-octave.
